The salsa community in Nepal is evolving. The number of salsa dance schools and academies in Nepal is growing too. The gradual increase in the number of salsa dancers in Nepal has been proven by their regular presence at different salsa socials and parties.

The Dance floor has finally decided to hold monthly salsa parties on different venues both in Kathmandu side and in Lalitpur/Patan side. The sole objective of this is to meet the demands of good latin music and latin/salsa dancing ambience in Kathmandu and in Nepal as whole. Mr. Ashok Bhandari, the founder of The Dance Floor:dancewithashok, shall be Djing at the event himself. The main reason behind doing so is he feel that the quality of Salsa and other latin songs in few ongoing parties are outdated. He believes that the salsa dancers and students in Nepal deserve latest and trendy Latin music.

The first Salsa party is going to be held at OPIUM restaurant in Durbar marg , Kathmandu Nepal on January 22nd, 2018 from 7:30 pm onwards.
The venue has a good ambience. The salsa dancing will happen on the open terrace which is amazing. The venue is known for its good food and commendable staff services at a reasonable price. The entry is open for free to everyone .

Everyone including the current and former salsa students from The Dance Floor:dancewithashok, as well as other salsa school like Salsa Dance Academy , Y-stand dance School , Fort salsa Studio and salsa dancers from all over Kathmandu is expected to attend the event.

Hopefully, the salsa party will be a treat to good music lovers and enthusiastic dancers.
